Our core organisational objectives, with the acronym SEED, are as follows::

Sending skilled volunteers to support our projects and activities in the communities where we work.
Educating fatherless children and orphans to completion of secondary school and up to tertiary level where possible.
Empowering widows/guardians via counselling, literacy and business skills training that will enable them to generate a sustainable income to support their families;
Developing the entire community where ACT works by providing technical and material support to local schools and health services;

ACT is for the people otherwise forgotten. We are international, yet local in our focus. Established in 1998, we currently operate in eight African countries, working with disadvantaged children and orphans who cannot afford the cost of an education and supporting widows in need to sustain their families. So far, our work has helped to educate and train thousands of young people and widows in need. In the UK we are championing global citizenship by raising awareness of international development among young people in schools and providing them with experience of international development.
