ACT partners Development Impact For Nigeria (DIFN) had an exciting 2013. Their work at the Ipaja Community Link (ICL) hosted a children’s club last summer which had more than 100 orphans in attendance. ICL assessed those most in need and built case studies which they then passedon to ACT, recommending those that were in desperate need for ACT support. This resulted in 9 additional children
being supported bringing the total number of children supported to 15.

When they informed the carers of the newly selected 9 children they were taken aback and found great relief from this news. They could not believe that “God would come to our aid in this way”.’ it was wonderful news for them after having to bear such a great burden alone over the years, as the carers were mostly widows. They expressed appreciation to all the funders of such support and the kids promised to concentrate on their studies and be well behaved as they don’t want to miss this opportunity.
