10 Peaks Challenge in the Lake District
Fantastic achievement by Gabriel! All to raise money for ACT! In his own words:
Please find below images of my successful completion of the 10 Peaks in the Lake District Challenge on the 11th June 2016. The challenge itself is tough but this difficulty was compounded by the fact that the weather was not favourable for such a task. It virtually rained all day, the pebbles and stones were slippery, it was foggy and we could not see far into the distance. Although, not seeing far into distance may have been an advantage! In places we were very close to the cliff. But we thank God that we survived to tell the tale! It took us 16 hours to complete. The FITBIT Electronic Equipment I wore switched off after 12 hours but it recorded that we climbed equivalent of 565 building Floors, 26.09 miles, 57,802 steps, 5341 calories!
