FUNDRAISING OFFICER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role

 

To prepare grant applications to Trusts and other statutory grant providers in support of the fundraising efforts of A.C.T.

 

Relationships

 

Reports to: Trustees, represented by Director

 

Main Duties

1. To research grant giving Trusts and prepare application for funding for ACT projects in the UK and abroad.

2. To update and build upon the existing ACT databases of funding Trusts.

3. To provide reports and regular updates of the progress of the fund applications which have been submitted.

4. To set up account management and reporting systems for restricted projects.

5. To provide support for the fundraising activities of the charity.

6. Carry out your professional duties in accordance with the aims and objectives of the Trustees.

7. Perform your assignments in co‑operation with and under the direction of the Trustee to whom you are responsible.

8. Comply with arrangements intended for the appraisal of your own performance and maintain a weekly time sheet.

9. To carry out any other reasonable duties that the Trustees may request in fulfilment of A.C.T. objectives.

The position is suitable for a person with computer skills and who is familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Church Coordinators/Mobiliser

ACT would like to develop new contacts and build upon existing contacts with churches across the UK to raise awareness and support for the work we are doing. We are looking for a person with experience and the skills for the role of Church Coordinator/ Mobiliser.
