
In December ACT recieved a grant from DFID Diaspora Programme to send out 15 volunteers on short term placement to Tanzania.
African and Asian Diaspora volunteers based in the UK are encouraged to give back through short term assignments of 2 to 6 weeks or longer to work on projects in Africa or Asia. ACT is planning to send out 15 volunteers to set up computers in 5 schools in Tanga, Tanzania. The volunteers will also train about sixty teachers in ICT.
