In March 2007 ACT support for children in Africa reached 500 since the charity became registered in March 1999. The total number of needy fatherless children and orphans now supported has reached 550. ACT is helping these children of poor widows and orphans to complete their education enabling them to achieve their full their potential in life.
ACT works through partners in Zambia, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Uganda and Nigeria. In January 2007, ACT started working in Malawi. Our partner are theGlobal Baptist Church in Migowi. ACT is supporting 6 children with our partner and this is set to grow in the next school term in September. The practical help ACT provides brings hope to widowed mothers, guardians and the communities.
