A Board of Trustees - made up of volunteers- is responsible for overseeing the management, administartion and strategic direction of the African Child Trust.
ACT Trustees produce an Annual Report which incorporates our finanacial accounts. Accounting returns are received from our partners in Africa each term. This undergoes independent third party review before funds for the following period are remitted.
The ACT Handbook sets out the guiding principles and procedures used in the administartion of the objectives. The document defines the responsibilities of the charity to our sponsors as well as to our partners and the children and widows we support. The document also describes the roles and responsibilities of our partners and basis of co-operation with ACT.
