Charity law requires that the Trustees prepare financial statements for each final year, which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the Charity. ACT Trustees produce an Annual Report which incorporates our finanacial accounts.
Accounting returns are received from our partners at the end of each school term and reviewed before funds for the following school term are remitted.
The ACT Handbook sets out the guiding principles and procedures used in the administartion of the objectives. The document defines the responsibilities of the charity to our sponsors as well as to our partners and the children and widows we support. The document also describes the roles and responsibilities of our partners and basis of co-operation with ACT.
