"The development of any nation in the education
of her children"
The community is central to the approach of ACT in funding the education of the children of widows and orphans in Africa. We are working with well established local Christian churches, schools or other Christian organisations who share our vision of supporting the families with the most need within the community.
By funding the education of fatherless children and orphans the entire community benefits. Teachers are employed and the need to provide school supplies creates job opportunities within the community. All of these contribute to breaking the long-term cycle of poverty and demonstrate a caring attitude in a practical way to those who are most in need.
